Child sessions are lots of fun! I love capturing a little one's personality and expressions.

This lilac feather dress was so light, airy and dreamy. Miss M was like a little garden pixie. Precious!
We were ready to shoot this session outside by the garden where we picked the flowers but it rained us out. Love how feminine and soft this session was...

I spotted this gorgeous feather dress from Little Pumpkin of London, Ontario.

This adorable feather dress from my "wardrobe" stash is available for my clients to wear.

Cake Smash | Sparkle Smash

The Sparkle Smash has been created exclusively for today's trendy two year-old. At Agnes Cindy Photography, I understand cake smash sessions are so festive, you'll want to do it again. Parents typically add on birthday invitations or thank you cards to complete the party planning.

I love retro styling so I wanted to incorporate that fashion era into this sparkle smash.

I was head over heels when I spotted this cake design. I knew it would be perfectly fitting for this theme. This sweet cake was made by the talented Candies Cakery of London, Ontario. I may have relocated 200 km away from her but she keeps me coming back for more!

Styling is one of my favourite tasks when planning ant cake smash. I just so happened to pull this adorable ensemble together from my wardrobe stash. Wardrobe is available for all clients as wearable props during their session. There is a limited selection.

Miss M. is not a cake smasher. She is one of those delicate and picky eaters. She also wanted to rearrange the set lol!

Two years-old is a great age to capture - a one year follow-up to the First Year Cake Smash makes a wonderful timeline. How their little personalities develop is so intriguing. Pushing the limits and testing boundaries... they are adding spark into their characters. Let me celebrate with you and help capture this  special time!

Little Miss  | Part Two

You've met this light hearted wonder in the last post. The second half of a child mini session at Agnes Cindy Photography is super fun! Clients love to choose from my collection of wearable props. I think the parents love playing dress up more than the kiddos ;)

Mom chose a vintage inspired outfit. This is actually one of my favourite skirts in my collection. I love the french lace in cream and blush.

Seriously, she is a barrel of laughter. I really did laugh almost the entire time I shot this session. She is as lovely as mom and as polite as dad :)  Hope to meet again someday!

So, now that you've seen Part One and Part Two, I can let you in on our little secret during this session - Cheese, Macaroni, Bologna and Hot dogs lol. That's our secret recipe in inducing smiles here!

Windsor, Ontario Child Portraits | Little Miss {Part One}

Little Miss  |  Part 1

I've endeared her with the nickname "Little Miss" because she certainly was a little Miss Sunshine!
Mom and Dad brought her for a visit in my home-studio. She was dressed perfectly coordinated in pink, black and white. Little did I know this slow to warm, polite and little lady would burst into a ray of sunshine. She just needed some good ole' silliness to come out of that shell.

Here she is warming up her fabulous smile.
Mom and I were playing around with some props and having fun. Little Miss wasn't too thrilled about this mini hat but that's what made it so funny. I asked her to make goofy faces to match the so-called "goofy hat". I would snap images in between the goofy faces when we were laughing. Although she's looking at mom here, I get a good giggle whenever I look back on this image.

All warmed up and ready to dazzle the camera.

This is one of my favourite child poses. Too adorable! 

She is also fitting to the endearment "Little Miss" because I found her quite mature for her age. She took some control over this session. Yes, she did. She picked out the white rug from the selection of others.

Child Mini Sessions at Agnes Cindy Photography always begin with the child in an outfit chosen by the parents and which they wear in to the studio. A clothing change and backdrop change takes place next. Clients can choose from a nice selection of wearable props to customize their session.
